Psychosocial Recovery Coaching
At JSC, our Psychosocial Recovery Coaching is designed for people with psychosocial disabilities who want to build capacity, resilience and independence through recovery oriented practice. Our recovery coaches bring both professional expertise and mental health knowledge, often enriched by lived experience, to work alongside participants in co-designing recovery plans that reflect their goals and aspirations. We focus on connecting participants with the right clinical, community and informal supports, helping them get the most from their NDIS plans and developing strategies to navigate daily challenges and life transitions. Everything we do is grounded in building strong, respectful relationships that empower participants to live purposeful and self-directed lives.

Recovery Planning
We work side-by-side with participants to co-design personalised recovery plans that truly reflect their goals, aspirations and individual circumstances. This is not a “one size fits all” approach every plan is unique, just like the person it’s built for. Together, we explore what matters most, set achievable goals, and identify the steps needed to get there. Our recovery planning process is flexible and responsive, so that as life changes, the plan can change too.
Connection to Supports
A strong recovery journey is supported by the right connections. We assist participants to link with the most suitable clinical, community and informal supports to meet their needs and enhance their quality of life. This may include mental health professionals, community groups, peer support networks, educational opportunities or cultural connections. We take the time to understand the participant’s preferences, values and goals so that every referral or introduction is purposeful and supportive of their recovery.
Capacity and Resilience Building
Recovery is strengthened when people have the skills, knowledge and confidence to navigate life’s challenges. We work with participants to build practical skills that help them manage daily living, strengthen relationships, and handle change with resilience. This can involve developing problem-solving strategies, learning to self-advocate, building social confidence, or finding new ways to participate in the community. Our aim is to help participants become more independent while feeling supported every step of the way.
